Dunki 2023- Movie Plot
The plot of Dunki is based on ‘Donkey Flight’, a term commonly used for the border immigration issue. To simply put, Donkey Flight is an illegal method, a backdoor route of entering a country abroad via several stops in other countries. It is a popular method that many youngsters use every year to enter their decided country illegally after failing to visit a legitimate way.
According to various reports, Dunki is a story of a Punjabi boy and his adventurous journey to reach Canada using the Donkey Flight method. As per one of Shah Rukh Khan’s interview, the narrative of Dunki is about people who wants to come back home after getting their calling.
The movie has been filmed in different parts of the world, including Jeddah and Neom in Saudi Arabia, Doha in Qatar, Sharjah in UAE, and Kashmir in India. The estimated budget of the movie is Rs. 100 crore (approximately).
